Meghan received her 200 hr. teacher training in Spring 2011 at Dhyana Yoga, Philadelphia in Vinyasa Yoga from the Ashtanga lineage. After teaching vinyasa and yin yoga for several years she started in-depth study of the traditional roots of her practice at Ashtanga Yoga Northampton, apprenticing with Michelle Ryan, who contiues to be her yoga teacher and teaching mentor. In addition to her yoga practice and training, she holds an MA in Contemplative Education from Naropa University, where she focused on the relation between embodiment, meditation, and ecological thinking. Her classes are also inspired by her studies in permaculture, ayurveda, and herbalism, linking our personal wellness with that of the whole planet.
