our teachers | Alexandra Hartmann
Alexandra has been practicing yoga for over 25 years. Be it as a dancer, yoga practitioner/teacher or body worker/massage therapist, her personal and professional life has centered on her passion and curiosity for the human body. As a teacher, Alexandra applies her deep understanding of anatomy and the principles of Body-Mind Centering® to the asana practice to explore and express the many connections within the body. In her classes she likes to cultivate ‘a listening mind’, leading to a raised awareness of the body, its physiological processes and spiritual paths. Her aim is to center oneself in the present moment, promoting a state of well being.
