Dianne Davis-Whitham holds a BA in Dance from Pitzer College in Claremont, CA.  During and after college Dianne studied a number of dance styles including Cecchetti Ballet and Martha Graham, Jose Limon and Bill Evans styles of modern dance.  In 1991 she completed a Masters Degree in Public Health from UMASS, Amherst and went on to work in healthcare administration locally for 15 years, while raising two daughters. 

She began her yoga practice in 2000 studying primarily in the Iyengar style.  After completing a 200 Hour Iyengar style yoga teacher training she became interested in teaching children and those with chronic illness.  She completed a Yoga Ed.© Instructor training, founded a new business “KIDZ Yoga Academy” through which she teaches the Yoga Ed© curriculum in western Massachusetts. 

Ms. Whitham is currently enrolled in a 500 Hour Embodyoga™ Teacher Training at the Yoga Center Amherst and is preparing to be licensed as a health educator by the Massachusetts Department of Education.
