our teachers | Olive McKeon
Olive McKeon is a yogini, dancer, choreographer, and critical thinker. She began practicing ashtanga yoga at 12 years old, and received her certification from It’s Yoga in San Francisco where she studied with Larry Schultz.
In addition to yoga, Olive studies release-based modern dance and contact improvisation. She is finishing her last year at Hampshire College with a degree in choreography and critical theory.
She teaches a hands on, alignment focused ashtanga class that takes a playful approach to K. Pattabhi Jois’s primary series.
Olive remains committed to the transformative potential of asana and pranyama practice to change one’s relationship to the body and the surrounding society.
